Even Stars Die

Even Stars Die is the story of an aspiring young American screenwriter’s immigration to Vancouver, following internet romance and the promise of a happier existence. After his failed relationship with his first love Nikki, he begins to be plagued by ominous dreams of collapsing into a black hole, which seem to herald the start of an existential crisis—a deep empty void that threatens to consume him. As he forms new connections in his new homeland—his anime-obsessed best friend Matt, his nihilistic neighbor Jules, his potential new flame Diane—he begins to realize that he might not be the only one running from the edge of the abyss.
